"Do it Now And Do it With Honesty And Integrity"

This past Saturday I attended the first annual Arizona Blogger Conference and I must say it was an absolute blast. Not just because I was surrounded by some of Phoenix's finest but because I was totally happy- all night. Who would have thought that talking about, exchanging, learning, and complimenting on blogs all night would be so much fun? I know I certainly didn't a year ago...my how things have changed.

The venue was happy, the food was delicious, and most importantly the presentations were insightful. We even got a Madewell tote bag filled with goodies! I made some new friends and got to chat and catch up with some fellow bloggers I met earlier this year as well. I wouldn't have wanted to spend my Saturday any other way!

This Saturday I will be attending the Arizona Blogger Conference and I am over the moon excited about it! There are so many great things planned - I can't wait to listen to all the speakers and just embrace being surrounded by so many people who share the same passion as I do! It will be hosted at the Saguaro hotel in Scottsdale...if you are familiar with this bubbly and bright hotel you know it will be the perfect venue for all these creative individuals. What do you have planned this weekend?

Bundle on Up

They lovely SHOPPE by Amber Interiors has some pretty STELLAR stuff at the moment. And, of course, the cutest ones are pre-sale so scoot on over and check it out! These blankets and runners are absolutely to-die-for! The eye catching colors and bold patterns have totally wooed me. Now the real question...who wants to "lend" me a few bucks so I can purchase one of these plush little pretties....pppppprrreeeeeeeeeeettttyyy please ;)

Although these may have to go on my dream wish list for now, that doesn't mean I can't admire them and will not stop me from placing them perfectly on a sofa in my many many imaginary design projects. Although, if you ask me...I DO think every women should own just ONE expensive blanket in her life, no?!

Swiss Miss

I am officially in love with Sweedish blogger Kristina Bazan, the beautiful face behind the blog Kayture. Isn't she absolutely stunning? Not to mention her style...I am jealous in more ways than one. Known for her porcelain skin and infamous bold lip colors, Kristina is taking the blogging world by storm - and I am loving every minute! I think she somewhat reminds me of Elizabeth Olsen with her deep eyes and round face...perfect!

What a wonderful weekend it was! I mentioned here I was attending the annual Scottsdale Culinary Festival and boy was it a blast. Of course, the 100 degree+ heat was a small pain and called for minimal clothing, but we managed to still have a great great time! An Outfit to Indulge In...

It's finally FRIDAY! The weather is heating up here in Phoenix and unfortunately it is hitting triple digits this weekend :( In honor of this heat wave (hopefully it will cool down one last time before summer hits) I have gathered some outfit inspiration for our annual Scottsdale Culinary Festival this wekeend. I can't wait to scarf down some good eats and maybe even peek my head into the beer tasting festival, hehe. It should be a great time- even in 100 degrees!

Sheesh, It's about time! I have been seeing these funky new hair-tie designs popping up all over the place and I think it's time for me to jump on the bandwagon. I am in desperate need to get away from my plain Jane ties that are simply just brown stretchy circles. I love the fun new outlook that Bop Basics has captured. Simply Unexpected

I love the way outfits can surprise you. A relatively plain blouse at first glance can often be found with such sweet details. One of my favorite types of little details are ruffles. They are the true definition of whimsical and express the perfect amount of flirty-ness, if you ask me. We can often expect to find ruffles along the front of a blouse, dress, or any ensemble. However, it is the out of the ordinary ruffles that are my favorite. I love how they can create a chic silhouette with such ease, don't you?

A Day Fit For A Queen...

Saturday was the perfect day. Although it was a gloomy and un-characteristically cool day here in AZ - a much needed girls day was planned and it went off without a hitch. Champagne was flowing (with strawberries of course) and plenty of treats were eaten, but most of all some amazing quality time was spent. It's hard sometimes, life that is. We all get wrapped up in our own day-to-day activities and sometimes friends and relationships are put on the back burner. It was a nice reminder and actually quite refreshing to be surrounded by my girls and have an entire day dedicated to senseless chit-chat, plenty of laughs, and even better drinks!

Boys may come and go ya'll...but your girls are there forever, make sure you cherish them!

What I'm Lusting Over...

Wow! What a great way to start my Monday. I came across this snapshot of Lea Michelle & Lauren Conrad at Coachella from the weekend and I instantly fell in love with LC's outfit. She looked soo stinkin' cute and fit right in with the boho-chic style fit for a music festival. From the straw hat to her high wasted shorts I knew I needed it...or at least wanted to attempt to re-create this look for myself. The price tag isn't too, too hurtful...

You know I would never keep a tip this great all to myself...you're welcome ;)

Oh, yes they did! Trend Gawker

For as long as I can remember, stripes mixed with other prints let alone upon more stripes was a fashion "no no." However, the recent color-blocking trend was also frowned upon- that is, until now. I am LOVING all of these new rules and the whole "anything goes" mindset.

Stripes on stripes is actually quite striking if you ask me and I cannot wait to try it out. I own so many striped pieces (both bottoms and tops) and I know that they could make a killer outfit when paired together.

Born to Make a Statement

Neon was made to stand loud and proud and practically screams "LOOK AT ME" wherever it lies. The bright vibrant shades have most definitely been agreeing with my taste lately and I especially adore neon when it is styled as an unexpected pop of color. You know, mixed in with a monochromatic pallet? It is simply so pleasing to all of our eyes! What is your favorite way to master the placement a neon shade?
